La mina Puerto Arturo cuenta con un túnel minero avanzado que comunica la superficie con una serie de niveles dispuestos a diferentes profundidades. Esta construcción ha sido posible gracias a la implementación de diferentes sistemas de sostenimiento utilizados en todo el mundo, donde, dependiendo del tipo de roca, es seleccionado el más idóneo para mantener altos estándares de seguridad, optimización de insumos y una sección lo suficientemente amplia para el ingreso de maquinaria robusta de cargue y transporte del material que allí se extrae. 

La Rampa JD, es una de las labores más importantes de la mina Puerto Arturo, además de comunicar diferentes niveles y permitir el ingreso de personal, maquinaria e insumos a diferentes puntos de la mina, también permite el ingreso de aire fresco a cada una de las labores, completando el circuito de ventilación que hace posible el laboreo en las operaciones profundas de la mina y, al interconectar los niveles de clavada, es una vía de evacuación robusta que garantiza la seguridad y la integridad de todos los trabajadores en posibles eventualidades

Proyectamos continuar el avance de esta labor con 2.000 metros lineales en Rampas y nuevos accesos. Nuestro objetivo es generar nuevos frentes de explotación en zonas más profundas y de difícil acceso dentro del título minero y así poder conseguir un aumento en las reservas que prolongue la vida útil del proyecto minero.
