Medición dentro de la mina
La Mina Puerto Arturo ha evolucionado de un levantamiento topográfico de baja precisión empleando brújulas y cintas, a la adquisición e implementación de equipos de alta tecnología que han sido provechosos en los procesos de producción. Estos equipos permiten el levantamiento de las labores mineras con un alto grado de precisión, siendo esta la base fundamental para el desarrollo de cada una de las operaciones, permitiendo planear y ejecutar de manera adecuada cada una de las proyecciones y diseños planteados. 
Mediante el uso de estaciones totales marca Topcon y Leica, las labores han sido graficadas y modeladas en softwares especializados que representan adecuadamente las zonas explotadas y demarcan el corto, mediano y largo plazo de la operación.  Además, la Mina Puerto Arturo cuenta con levantamiento de fotogrametría mediante vuelos no tripulados que permiten la identificación en superficie de toda la infraestructura vial, redes hídricas, construcciones, infraestructura eléctrica y la geomorfología, que son insumos importantes para el planeamiento minero e interpretaciones geológicas.
